Kevin G. McKannan
Managing Member
Kevin McKannan is the founding member of Glenloch Legal, and focuses on serving as outside counsel for small businesses in the areas of business planning, choice of entity, creation of foundational and business documents, succession planning, employment law, and several other business-related matters. Kevin also assists individuals and families with helping them create their estate plans, from a basic estate plan utilizing a will to the more advanced plan utilizing a living trust.
Kevin has been practicing as a Virginia attorney since 2009. He founded Glenloch Legal for the purposes of protecting and supporting small businesses in their endeavors to enable their businesses to thrive, as well as assisting individuals and families to help them protect their personal estates and business assets.
In addition to working with Glenloch Legal, Kevin is a past board member of the local Chamber of Commerce, a past President of the local Bar Association, and is actively involved with his community.
Kevin is also a Veteran of the Army having served as an attorney with the Judge Advocate General Corps. He deployed June 2016 through March 2017 with the 1-116 Infantry Battalion in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (Spartan Shield) as the Officer in Charge of the Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar Consolidated Legal Office, providing legal counsel to base commanders.
Kevin is married with two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, working out, and pursuing outdoor activities.
Lauren e. Carnill
Associate
Lauren Carnill is an attorney with a focused practice on estate planning and trust and estates administration. She is passionate about assisting individuals and families with planning for the future, and preparing documents to ensure each client’s wishes are well-thought out and enforceable. Lauren also guides individuals and loved ones through the probate and trust administration processes.
Lauren graduated from Georgetown Law after completing multiple internships with both the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Communications Commission. She attended Hollins University for her undergraduate degree, earning a dual degree in History and English Literature.
Lauren grew up in Winchester and enjoys serving the community and surrounding areas. Currently, she serves as Chair of the City of Winchester Social Services Advisory Board. Lauren is married with two children. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, baking, and hiking.
