Kevin G. McKannan
Kevin McKannan is the founding partner of Glenloch Legal, P.L.C., focusing on business planning, choice of entity, succession planning, estate planning, employment law, and other numerous business matters.
Kevin has been practicing as a Virginia attorney since 2009. In addition to working with Glenloch Legal, Kevin serves as a board member of the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber and is the Past President of the Winchester-Frederick County Bar Association. Kevin is also a Veteran of the Army having served as an attorney with the Judge Advocate General Corps. He deployed June 2016 through March 2017 with the 1-116 Infantry Battalion in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (Spartan Shield) as the Officer in Charge of the Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar Consolidated Legal Office, providing legal counsel to base commanders.
Kevin’s practice focuses primarily on small business owners with a strong emphasis on planning and strategy. Specifically, he focuses on the following areas:
-Choice of entity/business formation and start-up business planning.
-Business growth planning and drafting business documents.
-Business succession planning.
-Advising business owners on various matters including governance, employment, strategy, planning, and business purchases.
-Developing and drafting estate plans, which include using living trusts, wills, powers of attorney and advanced medical directives.
thomas e. Willis II
Tom specializes in real estate planning and title closings, taxation strategies, business planning, and family estate planning. He has been licensed to practice since 1997. He has extensive experience structuring real estate and business transactions to minimize tax liabilities and maximize owner protections. Tom has served real estate, business and venture capital clients in structuring contracts and ownership agreements that clearly delineate lines of authority, responsibilities, financial flows, and squarely address a host of contingencies that might arise.
Tom has been invited to speak on FOX BUSINESS ®, CNN ®, and i24 NEWS®.
Prior to joining Glenloch Legal as partner, Tom worked as an attorney in the Washington, D.C. office of the world’s largest law firm. There he specialized in taxation strategies and international corporate planning. Before that, he clerked for a Federal Judge at the U.S. Tax Court also in Washington, D.C. while completing his Masters in Tax Law (LL.M.) at the Georgetown University School of Law with Honors.
Tom is a U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret veteran. He attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His deployments include serving as Kuwait head of Joint Special Operations Task Force Arabian Peninsula operations, and a combined international exercise in North Macedonia with Macedonian, Croatian and Albanian Special Forces. He has served overseas tours in the US Embassy Lima, the US Embassy Kuwait City and the US Embassy Jerusalem. To aid his fellow veterans, Tom served on the Board of Directors (2014-2017) for the Rick Herrema Foundation, a non-profit that finds fun and life-giving ways to help service members and military families cope with the stress of military life.
Tom is married with three children. He speaks English, French, Spanish and Russian
